## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) MR. CRAIG WALTERS LOST CONTROL OF THE PA-20 AIRCRAFT THAT HE WAS FLYING. UPON TOUCH DOWN AT PALMER MUNI AIRPORT THE AIRCRAFT SWERVED, CONTROL INPUTS WERE MADE TO CORRECT THE DIRECTION OF TRAVEL WHICH CAUSED THE AIRCRAFT TO SWERVE IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION. THIS OVER CORRECTION CAUSED THE AIRCRAFT TO DEPART THE RUNWAY, WHERE IT STRUCK A DITCH AND BENT THE MAIN LANDING GEAR TO THE REAR. THE AIRCRAFT SUFFERED WING DAMAGE, AND THE PROPELLER STRUCK THE GROUND DOING DAMAGE TO THE BLADES.
