## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON 4-29-03, THE PRIVATE PILOT STATED THAT "HE WAS CONDUCTING TAKE OFF AND LANDINGS AT THE KALAELOA AIRPORT. ON THE SECOND LANDING THE PRIVATE PILOT ENCOUNTERED A STRONG CROSSWIND HE THEN APPLIED BRAKES SPUN 200 DEGREES, CAUSING DAMAGE TO A TAXIWAY LIGHT AND CAUSING THE LEFT MAIN LANDING GEAR TO COLLAPSE." SKID MARKS ON THE RUNWAY COULD BE SEEN FOR MORE THAN 150 FT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
