## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) N306JA HAD FUEL EXHAUSTION ON ALL WING TANKS. BOTH ENGINES FLAMED OUT ON FINAL TO RWY 13 AT FT. LAUDERDLAE EXECUTIVE AIRPORT. PILOT DIVERTED AIRPLANE TO CLOSEST PAVED AREA (TAXIWAY B) AND LANDED THERE. ON THE ROLL OUT, IT STRUCK THE WING OF A MOONEY (N7106U) THAT WAS TAXIING. ALL WING TANKS WERE VERIFIED EMPTY (EXCEPT FOR SMALL UNUSABLE DRAINED ON POST INCIDENT INSPECTION. FUSELAGE TANK NOT USABLE TO THE ENGINES). CONTAINED 480 LBS. NO EMERGENCY WAS DECLARED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
