## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON 05/10/2003 SWAA FLIGHT #1324 LANDED AT BNA FROM MDW EARLY AND THEIR GATE WAS FULL WITH ANOTHER AIRCRAFT THAT WAS LOADING PASSENGERS AND DUE TO PUSH BACK SHORTLY. DUE THIS THE CREW OF FLIGHT 1324 WAS GOING TO WAIT IN A NO MOVEMENT RAMP AREA AWAY FROM THE RAMP TAXI WAY BETWEEN TANGO 5 AND TANGO 6. WHILE TAXIING OUT OF THE WAY TO WAIT FOR THEIR GATE TO OPEN UP THE CREW TAXIED THE AIRCRAFT'S RIGHT WING-TIP INTO A BLAST FENCE IN THIS NO MOVEMENT RAMP AREA CAUSING MINOR DAMAGE TO THE WING-TIP AND BLAST FENCE. THE PASSENGERS WERE TAKEN OFF THE PLANE AND TO THE GATE WITHOUT INCIDENT. (-23 AMENDMENT) ASI MCINTYRE SENT THE REQUESTED PILOT INFORMATION AND IT WAS ADDED TO THIS REPORT.^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
