## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE PILOT REPORTED HEARING A VERY LOUD POP SOUND. THEN NOTICED THE LEFT MAIN LANDING GEAR WAS HANGING OUT OF THE WHEEL WELL. UPON PUTTING THE GEAR SELECTOR IN THE DOWN POSITION, THE RIGHT MAIN AND THE NOSE LANDING GEAR EXTENDED FULLY. THE LEFT MAIN WAS STILL HANGING LOOSE. AN ATTEMPT TO PUMP DOWN THE LEFT MAIN GEAR WITH THE EMERGENCY PUMP WAS UNSUCCESSFUL. THE GEAR SELECTOR WAS PLACED BACK INTO THE UP POSITION AND THE AIRCRAFT MADE A LANDING IN THE GRASS. DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT WAS MINOR. TWO ANTENNAS ON THE BELLY OF THE AIRCRAFT WERE BROKEN OFF, AND THE ENGINE MUFFLER WAS BENT. THE AIRCRAFT WAS PUT INTO THE HANGAR AND THE LANDING GEAR WAS INSPECTED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
