## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) UPON LANDING AT JEAN AIRPORT, PILOT STATED HE HAD THREE GREEN LIGHTS INDICATING THE GEAR WAS DOWN AND LOCKED, AT TOUCH DOWN THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED. UPON INSPECTION OF THE AIRCRAFT THE MAINTENANCE FACILITY FOUND A BENT PUSHROD ON THE NOSE GEAR LINKAGE WHICH COULD OF CONTRIBUTED TO THE FALSE INDICATION OF THE GEAR BEING DOWN AND LOCKED AND ALSO PREVENTED THE NOSE WHEEL GOING TO THE DOWN AND LOCKED POSITION.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
