## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON 5-28-2003, AIR TRANSPORT INTERNATIONAL INC., FLIGHT 708, DECLARED AN EMERGENCY WHEN THE LANDING GEAR HANDLE WAS PLACED TO GEAR DOWN POSITION AND THE RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR DOWN GREEN LIGHTS WOULD NOT ILLUMINATE. THE CREW COMPLIED WITH ABNORMAL PROCEDURES BUT COULD NOT VERIFY THE LANDING GEAR WAS DOWN. IT WAS CONFIRMED VIA TOWER OBSERVATION THAT THE GEAR WAS DOWN. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT AND THE POSITION SWITCH DOWNLOCK WAS REMOVED AND REPLACED PER MAINTENANCE MANUAL 32-60-0. THE AIRCRAFT WAS DISPATCHED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. ^PRIVACY DATA ^ IS CONSIDERED CLOSED. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
