## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE LANDING GEAR STRIKING THE WATER PRIOR TO FLOATS WOULD HAVE CAUSED THE UPSET AND FORWARD FLIP OF THE AIRCRAFT WHICH RESULTED IN SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE, INCLUDING LEFT WING MOUNT RIPPED APART ALLOWING WING TO TRAIL AFT APPROXIMATELY 85 DEGREES.
