## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ACCORDING TO THE FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR ABOARD, HE STATED THAT HE WAS GIVING THE PRIVATE PILOT-OWNER INSTRUMENT TRAINING. UPON RETURNING TO AIRPORT, BOTH DECIDED TO PRACTICE TAKEOFFS AND LANDINGS. ON THE FOURTH LANDING TO RUNWAY 27, THE PILOT ALLOWED THE AIRCRAFT TO YAW TO THE RIGHT WITH SUBSEQUENT SIDE LOADING ON THE LANDING GEAR. INSTRUCTOR STATED THAT HE WAS LATE IN TAKING OVER CONTROL. LANDING GEAR SUBSEQUENTLY COLLAPSED CAUSING MINOR DAMAGE TO THE UNDERSIDE OF THE AIRCRAFT. WEATHER CONDITIONS WERE VFR AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT WITH WINDS NORTHEASTERLY AT 8 KNOTS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
