## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON SUNDAY, JUNE 8, 2003 AT APPROXIMATELY 1915 PST AFTER LANDING INTO RANGER CREEK, GREENWATER, WASHINGTON THE PILOT ATTEMPTED TO MAKE A U-TURN ON THE RUNWAY, RAN OFF THE RUNWAY ONTO A GRAVEL AREA AND HEARD A SOUND THAT APPEARED TO BE THE PROPELLER STRIKING THE GROUND. THE PILOT REPORTED NO CHANGE IN ENGINE RPM OR VIBRATION FOLLOWING THE STRIKE. UPON INSPECTION THE PILOT NOTICED A 2" WIDE 3/4" DEEP DING IN THE PROPELLER TIP.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
