## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) WHILE THE SECOND PILOT COPIED FAA ATCT CLEARANCE INFO. THE PILOT INITIATED TAXI OPERATION IN THE PARKING AREA TOWARD THE TAXIWAY. AFTER TRAVELING FORWARD AND TO THE RIGHT APPROXIMATELY 75 FEET, (STILL IN THE PARKING AREA), THE AIRCRAFT'S NOSE WHEEL AND LEFT PROPELLER STRUCK A PORTABLE HELI-PAD, (HELICOPTER LANDING PAD). THE HELI-PAD WAS UNOCCUPIED AND WAS POSITIONED IN THE PARKING AREA NEAR THE TAXIWAY. THERE WERE NO INJURIES TO PERSONS. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
