## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE CREW REPORTED THAT THE MARSHALLER AND WING WALKER BOTH SIGNALED THE GATE WAS CLEAR AND THE CREW PROCEEDED INTO THE GATE. AS THEY APPROACHED THE STOPPING POINT THEY FELT A SHUTTER AND THEN WERE GIVEN THE EMERGENCY STOP, FROM GROUND CREW. THE CREW STATED THAT THEY SHUT DOWN THE AIRCRAFT AND GOT OUT OF THE AIRCRAFT, THEY NOTICED A DAMAGED CONTAINER, LEFT-WINGER TIP AND FORWARD SLAT. THE FEDEX FLIGHT SAFETY OFFICER PERFORMED A SAFETY DEBRIEF WITH THE CREW AND THE CAPTAIN WAS GIVEN A LINE CHECK BY THE COMPANY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
