## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON JUNE 12, 2003, FLIGHT 5578 AT 1510 LOCAL TIME, AIRCRAFT N26YV WHILE ENROUTE FROM RDG TO PIT, THE LANDING GEAR FAILED TO EXTEND USING NORMAL LANDING PROCEDURES. THE CREW REPORTED THAT THEY HAD AN UNSAFE GEAR INDICATION, AND THEN THEY PERFORMED AN EMERGENCY GEAR EXTENSION. AFTER THE CREW PUMPED THE GEAR DOWN THEY RECEIVED THREE GEAR DOWN AND LOCKED INDICATIONS. EMERGENCY EQUIPMENT WAS DISPATCHED AS A PRECAUTIONARY MEASURE, AND THE AIRCRAFT LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
