## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) PILOT WAS MAKING THE SECOND OF THREE PLANNED FULL STOP NIGHT LANDINGS AND IN FAILING TO LOWER THE LANDING GEAR, LANDED GEAR UP ON RUNWAY 29R. PILOT ADMITS HE FAILED TO DO A FINAL LANDING CHECK EVEN THOUGH HE HAD A CHECKLIST ON THE PANEL AND IN HIS LAP. THE GEAR UP WARNING HORN DID NOT ACTIVATE BUT THE GEAR WARNING LIGHTS WERE OPERATIONAL. PILOT HAS BEEN COUNSELED ON THE IMPORTANCE OF MAINTAINING ADHERENCE TO FOLLOWING/USING THE CHECKLIST AND IN DOING SO PREVENTS HUMAN/PILOT ERROR FROM BECOMING THE REASON FOR AN INCIDENT TO OCCUR.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
