## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) N9868K TOUCHED DOWN SMOOTHLY AT LONE HICKORY AIRPORT (80C) (A GRASS STRIP) AND BEGAN IT'S ROLLOUT. THE PILOT HEARD A LOUD POP AND THE AIRCRAFT DRIFTED RIGHT. THE PILOT COULD NOT CONTROL THE AIRCRAFT AND CAME TO REST ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY. THE PILOT EGRESSED THE AIRCRAFT AND SAW THAT THE RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR HAD BROKE OFF FROM THE FUSELAGE MOUNT AND WAS APPROXIMATELY 50 FEET BEHIND THE AIRCRAFT. THE PILOT WAS NOT INJURED IN THIS INCIDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
