## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) PILOT STATED HE PERFORMED A GUMP (G=GAS, U=LANDING GEAR, M=MIXTURE, P=PROPELLER) CHECK PRIOR TO LANDING AT SCOTTSDALE AIRPORT. SCOTTSDALE TOWER OBSERVED THE AIRCRAFT LANDING WITH THE GEAR UP, THEY ATTEMPTED TO COMMUNICATE ON THE RADIO TO THE AIRCRAFT THE THE GEAR WAS UP, HOWEVER THE AIRCRAFT TOUCHED DOWN ON THE RUNWAY BEFORE THE WARNING COULD BE ISSUED. AIRCRAFT WAS LIFTED BY CRANE OFF THE GROUND, GEAR SWITCH WAS IN DOWN POSITION AND MASTER SWITCH TURNED ON;GEAR DID NOT EXTEND. LANDING GEAR SWITCH WAS CYCLED, MECHANIC APPLIED PRESSURE TO THE PITOT TUBE AND GEAR EXTENDED. NO CAUSAL FACTORS KNOWN AT THIS TIME.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
