(-23) DURING TAKEOFF ROLL ON RUNWAY 06 FROM THE GADSDEN MUNICIPAL AIRPORT (GAD), GADSDEN, ALABAMA. THE LEFT NOSE AVIONICS/BAGGAGE DOOR CAME OPEN AT THE ROTATION POINT OF TAKEOFF. DEBRIS FROM THE NOSE AVIONICS/BAGGAGE AREA WAS INGESTED INTO THE ENGINE CAUSING A COMPRESSOR STALL AND SUBSEQUENT LOSS OF ENGINE POWER. THE PILOT ELECTED TO CONTINUED THE TAKEOFF AND BECAME AIRBORNE. THE AIRCRAFT STALLED AND IMPACTED THE GROUND APPROXIMATELY 300 YARDS NORTH OF THE DEPARTURE END OF RUNWAY 06. A POST IMPACT FIRE DESTROYED THE AIRCRAFT. THE PILOT DID EJECT FROM THE AIRCRAFT, HOWEVER, LOW AIRSPEED, LOW ALTITUDE, AND THE ATTITUDE OF THE AIRCRAFT DID NOT ALLOW FOR FULL DEPLOYMENT OF THE EMERGENCY PARACHUTE. THE PILOT IMPACTED THE GROUND CAUSING FATAL INJURIES.
