ACCORDING TO AN EYE WITNESS THE AIRCRAFT APPEARED JUST ABOVE THE TREE TOPS ON A SOUTHERLY HEADING AND MADE AN ABRUPT, VERY SHARP LEFT TURN, AND IMPACTED THE GROUND AT APPROXIMATELY A 14 DEGREE ANGLE. THERE WAS A POST IMPACT FIRE WHICH CONSUMED THE ENTIRE COCKPIT AREA. THE SOLE PERSON ON BOARD WAS FATALLY INJURED.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
