## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) AT 1315 HOURS LOCAL TIME ON 7-18-2003, AIRCRAFT N567KC A PA-46 OPERATED BY ROBERT R. FREDEKING MADE A FORCED LANDING AT JOHNSTOWN, PA (JST) DUE TO A REPORTED ENGINE FAILURE. THE MECHANIC AT JOHNSTOWN STATED THAT THE ENGINE WAS RUNNING ROUGH AND HE FOUND THE CAP ON THE RIGHT MAG LOOSE, CORRECTED THE PROBLEM AND THE AIRCRAFT DEPARTED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
