## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) AFTER DEPARTURE FROM BUTTE, MT, AIRPORT PERSONNEL REPORTED FINDING LARGE CHUNKS OF TIRE TREAD ON THE RUNWAY. THIS WAS REPORTED TO SKY WEST DISPATCH. UPON LANDING IN SALT LAKE CITY, UT CREW FOUND TIRE TREAD SEPARATION BUT TIRE STILL INFLATED. THE INBOARD FLAP WAS DAMAGED AND REQUIRED REPAIRS. MAINTENANCE REPLACED WHEEL ASSY 5010571 AND RIGHT HAND INBOARD FLAP ASSY 601R14000-2.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
