## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON JULY 30, 2003, ABOUT 1030 PACIFIC DAYLIGHT TIME, A PIPER PA-28R-200, N32784, OPERATED BY A CERTIFICATED FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR (CFI), WAS GIVING COMMERCIAL INSTRUCTION TO A STUDENT AT HOLLISTER AIRPORT (3O7), HOLLISTER CA. IN A STATEMENT FROM THE CFI HE STATED THAT AFTER TAKE OFF HE PULLED THE MIXTURE BACK; THE STUDENT PULLED BACK ON THE YOKE SO THE CFI TOOK OVER CONTROL, PUSHED THE MIXTURE BACK IN AND LANDED BACK ON THE RUNWAY WITH THE GEAR UP. THE CFI STATED THAT HE DID NOT SEE THE STUDENT PUT THE GEAR UP. A COPY OF THIS REPORT HAS BEEN GIVEN TO THE OPERATIONS UNIT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
