## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) WHILE ATTEMPTING TO LAND ON A PRIVATE GRASS RUNWAY, AIRCRAFT LANDED APPROXIMATELY 10 FEET SHORT OF THE LANDING THRESHOLD. THE AIRCRAFT THEN VEERED TO THE LEFT, STRIKING A TREE LINE ON LEFT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY. THE AIRCRAFT LEFT WING TIP IMPACTED THE TREE LINE, TURNING THE AIRCRAFT NOSE INTO THE TREES. THE AIRCRAFT THEN CONTINUED TURNING UNTIL IT CAME TO A STOP APPROXIMATELY 180 DEGREES TO THE INTENDED LANDING PATH.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
