## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) FAA NOTIFIED THAT AN AIRCRAFT HAD RUN INTO THE FENCE AT 52F, RESPONDED TO SCENE AND INTERVIEWED MARCAIR OWNER. PILOT HAD BEEN SENT HOME DUE TO STRESS FROM INCIDENT. AIRCRAFT OWNER STATED THAT THE PILOT HAD LANDED ON THENUMBERS AND WAS A LITTLE SLOW GETTING THE AIRCRAFT SETTLED ON RUNWAY, WAS MOVING @ APPR. 10 MPH AND CONTINUED STRAIGHT OFF THE RUNWAY UNTIL CONTACT WITH THE FENCE WAS MADE. INSPECTION OF THE AIRCRAFT REVEALED DAMAGE TO PROP AND SEVERAL DEEP GOUGES ON LANDING GEAR STRUTS. OPERATIONAL CHECK OF THE BRAKES COMPLETED, NO DEFECTS NOTED. REVIEWED MAINTENANCE RECORDS, NO DEFECTS NOTED. SECURED PILOTS INFORMATION AND RELEASED AIRCRAFT FROM THE INVESTIGATION.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
