## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) DURING THE LANDING ROLL OUT ON RUNWAY 29 AT THE NAMPA IDAHO AIRPORT THE RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR COLLAPSED. AFTER THE LANDING GEAR COLLAPSED THE AIRCRAFT TRAVELED TO THE RIGHT OFF THE RUNWAY. AT THIS TIME THE NOSE LANDING GEAR COLLAPSED ALLOWING THE PROPELLER TO MAKE CONTACT WITH THE GROUND. SUBSEQUENT INSPECTION AND OPERATIONAL CHECK OF THE LANDING GEAR SYSTEM FOUND NOTHING THAT COULD HAVE CONTRIBUTED TO THE LANDING GEAR COLLAPSE, AND THE LANDING GEAR FUNCTIONED PERFECTLY DURING THE RETRACTION TESTS.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB SEA03LA174](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/SEA03LA174), Aug 20, 2003: Piper PA-28-200R (N4816T), Nampa, ID, substantial damage. Probable cause: Landing gear collapse for undetermined reasons during the landing roll. On ground collision with a runway light was a factor.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
