## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE PILOT INITIATED A FLIGHT AT SKIATOOKS 2900' RUNWAY. THE PILOT STATED IT WAS 105 DEGREES AT THE AIRPORT AND PROBABLY 115 DEGREES ON THE RUNWAY. THE AIRCRAFT WAS FULLY LOADED, CARRYING THE PILOT AND ONE PASSENGER. THE PILOT BEGAN THE TAKE OFF, THE AIRCRAFT FAILED TO GAIN SUFFICIENT SPEED TO LIFT OFF AND THE AIRCRAFT WENT OFF THE END OF THE RUNWAY, CAUSING DAMAGE TO THE PROPELLER AND THE LANDING GEAR.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB FTW03LA235](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/FTW03LA235), Aug 23, 2003: Velocity RG (N113JG), Skiatook, OK, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's delay in aborting the takeoff. A contributing factor was the high density altitude.

## Other reports on N113JG (2)

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
