## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) PILOT IN COMMAND WAS CONDUCTING FLIGHT INSTRUCTION WITH A STUDENT PILOT. DURING A FULL STOP LANDING ATTEMPT, THE AIRCRAFT GROUND-LOOPED TO THE RIGHT DURING THE LANDING ROLLOUT ON RUNWAY 30. ACCORDING TO WRITTEN STATEMENTS, BOTH THE STUDENT PILOT AND THE PILOT IN COMMAND FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR WERE ON THE AIRCRAFT CONTROLS AT THE TIME OF THE GROUND-LOOP.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB SEA03LA181](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/SEA03LA181), Aug 29, 2003: Cessna 180 (N1027X), Caldwell, ID, substantial damage. Probable cause: The instructor's inadequate supervision, and the student's failure to maintain directional control.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
