## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE CAPTAIN STATED THAT THE FIRST OFFICER WAS FLYING AND THAT ON THE LANDING ROLL-OUT HE, THE CAPTAIN, WAS READING BACK THE TAXI INSTRUCTIONS TO THE TOWER AND MISSED THE CALL-OUT WHICH LEADS TO ACTIVATION OF THE NOSE WHEEL STEERING. AS THE AIRCRAFT SLOWED, RUDDER AUTHORITY WAS LOST AND THE AIRCRAFT VEERED OFF THE RUNWAY, STRIKING A RUNWAY LIGHT AND DAMAGING THE PROPELLER. THE ENGINE AND PROPELLER WERE REPLACED AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
