## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE AIRCRAFT'S NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED DURING A NIGHT LANDING ON RWY 31 AT AXN. PILOT STARTK STATED THAT HE HAD A THREE GREEN LIGHT L/GEAR INDICATION BEFORE LANDING. STARK ALSO STATED THAT THE PREVIOUS LANDING HAD BEEN HARD AND THAT HE WISHED TO DO ONE MORE LANDING BEFORE QUITTING FOR THE EVENING. VISUAL INSPECTION SHOWED DAMAGE TO THE NOSE GEAR STRUT AND WHEEL ASSEMBLY. ALSO, THE PROP AND NOSE COWL INCURRED DAMAGE FROM CONTACT WITH THE RUNWAY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
