## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) PIC STATED THAT, SHORTLY AFTER TAKEOFF ON RUNWAY 04, THE RIGHT FRONT PASSENGER DOOR OPENED. HE PERFORMED A TEARDROP TURN IN ORDER TO RETURN FOR A LANDING ON RUNWAY 22. DUE TO THE LOUD WIND NOISE AND THE DISTRACTION OF AN OPEN DOOR, HE NEGLECTED TO EXTEND THE LANDING GEAR AND LANDED WITH GEAR IN THE RETRACTED POSITION. THE AIRPLANE REMAINED ON THE RUNWAY, AND ALL OCCUPANTS WERE ABLE TO EGRESS WITHOUT INJURY. MINOR DAMAGE TO N336T CONSISTED OF DEFORMATION OF THE TRAILING EDGE OF THE WING FLAPS, LOWER ENGINE COWL SKIN SCRAPES, AND A BENT PROPELLER. THIS INCIDENT, ^PRIVACY DATA OMITT^ IS CLOSED WITH THIS REPORT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
