## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON 9/14/2003 MR. LEEMAN WAS PILOT IN COMMAND OF A LEEMAN LARRY G/RV-6A, N168AL WHEN THE AIRCRAFT DEPARTED THE LEFT SIDE OF RUNWAY 18 AT THE SUNRIVER AIRPORT (S21) DURING THE TAKE-OFF ROLL. THE AIRCRAFT RECEIVED MINOR DAMAGE TO THE RIGHT GEAR LEG FAIRING. THE DAMAGE WAS LIMITED TO A CRACK IN THE FAIRING DUE TO THE BUILD-UP OF GRASS AROUND AND BETWEEN THE FAIRING AND THE MOUNTING BAND.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
