## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE PILOT WAS ON APPROACH TO LAND ON RUNWAY 34 AT MCCALL. HE WAS FOLLOWING AN AVIAT HUSKY AIRCRAFT WHICH WAS BY ITS NATURE IS SLOW ON APPROACH AND WHICH DID LAND ON THE END OF RUNWAY 34. THE PILOT OF N234KC SLOWED IN ORDER TO NOT OVERTAKE THE HUSKY. THERE WERE OTHER AIRCRAFT IN THE TRAFFIC PATTERN BEHIND N234KC. ON SHORT FINAL THE LEFT WING DROPPED, THE PILOT APPLIED FULL POWER IN AN ATTEMPT TO AT THAT TIME GO AROUND. AT THAT MOMENT THE RIGHT WING DROPPED AND THE AIRCRAFT IMPACTED 270 FEET SHORT OF THE RUNWAY WITH A GREAT DEAL OF VERTICAL FORCE. THE AIRCRAFT BOUNCED AND SLID FORWARD 300 FEET, COMING TO REST ON THE NUMBERS FOR RUNWAY 34.
