## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ^PRIVACY DAT^ WHEN DEPARTING FROM BARROW ON TAKEOFF AND ON CLIMB OUT FROM BARROW #1 ENGINE OIL BY PASS LITE ILLUMINATED. WHEN POWER WAS BROUGHT TO IDLE, LITE REMAINED ILLUMINATED. ENGINE WAS SHUT DOWN PER CHECK LIST. ALL OTHER ENGINE PARAMETERS INDICATED NORMALLY. NUMBER 1 ENGINE OIL PRESSURE RANGED FROM 14-25 PSI WHEN SHUT DOWN THROUGH THE REMAINDER OF THE FLIGHT. FLIGHT TIME WAS 47 MINUTES TO SHUT DOWN. NOTE: BLOCK 32 THIS IS STILL UNDER INVESTIGATION UNTIL THE TEAR DOWN REPORT IS SUBMITTED TO DETERMINE WHAT WAS THE CAUSE OF THE METAL IN THE OIL BYPASS FILTER. THIS FORM WILL BE AMENDED AND WILL CONTAIN THE PTRS NUMBER.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
