## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON OCTOBER 7, 2003, AT APPROXIMATELY 1900 LOCAL TIME, PILOT IN COMMAND, AND FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR, MR. HARRY LEWIS PHILLIPS AND PILOT MR. KENNETH WAYNE FAGAN ON BOARD MOONEY-20-C, N92AV, LANDED AT SPINKS AIRPORT, FORT WORTH, TEXAS. AFTER LANDING ON RUNWAY 17R AND DURING THE ROLL OUT, THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED RESULTING IN MINOR DAMAGE TO THE AIRPLANE AND NO INJURIES TO THE TWO OCCUPANTS. SUBSEQUENT INVESTIGATION OF THE LANDING GEAR REVEALED THAT THE NOSE GEAR STRUCTURE FAILED DUE TO CORROSION.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
