## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) MR. JAMES WEGNER PILOT OF A CESSNA 182 AIRCRAFT N9082T WHILE TAXIING TO A PARKING AREA HIT A PARKED AIRCRAFT N67860 A CESSNA 152, DAMAGING THE PARKED AIRCRAFT'S RUDDER ATTACHMENTS, RUDDER AND VERTICAL STABILIZER SKIN, SPAR AND RIB SECTION. MR. WEGNER DID NOT REPORT THIS INCIDENT TO THE FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION. HE THEN FLEW HIS AIRCRAFT AFTER THIS INCIDENT WITHOUT HAVING THE AIRWORTHINESS OF HIS AIRCRAFT DETERMINED BY AN AIRFRAME AND POWERPLANT MECHANIC. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
