## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON 16 OCTOBER, 2003 AT APPROXIMATELY 8:06 PM, MR. ROY M. CRAIN, HOLDER OF PILOT CERTIFICATE NO. 2187142 WAS FLYING A COMMANDER 690-B, N9LV A THE ORLANDO COUNTRY AIRPORT (X04), PLYMOUTH, FLORIDA. THE PURPOSE OF THE FLIGHT WAS TO GIVE A DUEL FLIGHT CHECK-OUT TO MR. RONALD N. HENDERSON, HOLDER OF PILOT CERTIFICATE NO. 2226580. THE PILOTS WERE OPERATING IN ORLANDO COUNTRY'S TRAFFIC PATTERN. ON THE LAST LANDINGS ON RUNWAY 15 AT THE ORLANDO COUNTRY AIRPORT, THE RIGHT LANDING GEAR COLLAPSED DUE TO MATERIAL FAILURE. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE WITH NO INJURY TO THE PILOTS. VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS PREVAILED AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
