## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) UPON LANDING AT MRY, GROUND SPOILERS AND NORMAL BRAKING FAILED. BRAKE FUNCTION WAS FOUND TO BE OPERATIVE AFTER ANTI-SKID TURNED OFF. AIRCRAFT CAME TO A STOP WITH BOTH TIRES FLAT DUE TO OVER BRAKING WITHOUT ANTI-SKID FUNCTIONING. INVESTIGATION FOUND PRIOR MAINTENANCE PERFORMED ON LANDING GEAR, AND THE STRUTS HAD BEEN OVER SERVICED WITH NITROGEN. THE WEIGHT ON WHEEL SWITCH DID NOT MAKE ON TOUCH DOWN DUE TO THE OUT OF LIMIT PRESSURE IN THE STRUTS, WHICH CAUSED THE BRAKES AND SPOILERS TO NOT ACTIVATE. A SEPARATE INVESTIGATION HAS BEEN INITIATED TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF THE IMPROPER SERVICING OF THE LANDING GEAR.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
