## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) AT 1244E ON 10/22/2003, SHUTTLE AMERICA FLIGHT 4554, A SF304A, RETURNED TO LAND ON RUNWAY 28 LEFT AFTER REPORTING A FAULTY OIL PRESSURE INDICATION SHORTLY AFTER DEPARTURE. THE ARFF RESPONDED AND THE AIRCRAFT TAXIED TO THE RAMP WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE DISCOVERED THE ENGINE OIL SEAL ASSEMBLY WAS LEAKING AFT OF THE STARTER GENERATOR. THE SEAL WAS REMOVED AND REPLACED. A SERVICE DIFFICULTY REPORT WAS SUBMITTED. SUBMISSION OF THIS REPORT CLOSES THIS INCIDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
