## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) SEVERE CLEAR AIR TURBULENCE AT FL 210 TO FL 240 (CODE 6). CODE 0 TURBULENCE TO CODE 6 OCCURRED IMMEDIATELY. THIS WAS THE FIRST AIRCRAFT THROUGH THE AREA IN THE MORNING. NO AIRCRAFT MALFUNCTIONS. THREE FLIGHT ATTENDANTS WERE INJURED. CODE 3 TURBULENCE WAS FORECASTED FROM FL 290 THROUGH FL 330. FLIGHT ATTENDANTS WERE BRIEFED TO REMAIN SEATED AT TAKE-OFF BRIEF. WHEN STERILE FLIGHT DECK ENDED AND THE GREEN LIGHT CAME ON, THE FLIGHT ATTENDANTS LEFT THEIR JUMPSEATS. THE AIRCRAFT HIT CLEAR AIR TURBULENCE AND INJURED ALL THREE FLIGHT ATTENDANTS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
