## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON NOVEMBER 6, 2003, APPROXIMATELY 1030 CST, BEECH M35, N1700B, SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE WHEN THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED DURING THE LANDING ROLLOUT AT THE TEKAMAH MUNICIPAL AIRPORT. THE PIC REPORTED NO INJURY DURING THIS INCIDENT. SUBSEQUENT INVESTIGATION DISCLOSED THAT THE NOSE LANDING GEAR DID NOT FULLY EXTEND AND LOCK AS A RESULT OF LOW BATTERY VOLTAGE. INVESTIGATION FURTHER DISCLOSED THAT THE ALTERNATOR WAS NOT SUPPLYING THE MAIN AIRCRAFT ELECTRICAL BUS, DUE TO A BLOWN ALTERNATOR CONTROL CIRCUIT BREAKER. OPERATIONAL CHECKS OF THE LANDING GEAR RETRACT SYSTEM ESTABLISHED THAT THE DOWN LOCK INDICATOR LIGHT WAS INCORRECTLY ADJUSTED, PROVIDING A SAFE INDICATOR PRIOR TO THE NOSE GEAR LOCKING IN THE DOWN POSITION.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
