## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON NOV. 7, 2003 AT APPROXIMATELY 1245HRS LOCAL TIME THE AIRCRAFT DEPARTED RUNWAY 35 AND UPON LIFT OFF THE ENGINE LOST POWER. THE PILOT WAS ABLE TO LAND ON THE RUNWAY OVERRUN WITH NO DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT. NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED. THE PILOT STATED THAT THE AIRCRAFT HAD BEEN PARKED FOR A COUPLE OF MONTHS AND DURING PREFLIGHT INSPECTION HE DRAINED WATER FROM THE TANKS. HE CHECKED THE FUEL SAMPLE FOR WATER A SECOND TIME NO WATER WAS FOUND. AT THE POST FLIGHT INSPECTION MAINTENANCE REMOVED APPROXIMATELY OZ. OF WATER FROM THE FUEL SYSTEM.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
