## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON NOV. 11, 2003 AT APPROXIMATELY 1725HRS THE AIRCRAFT DEPARTED SWF IN ROUTE TO BBI. ON CLIMBOUT THE ENGINES STARTED TO OVERHEAT AND LOSE POWER. THE AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SWF AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. AFTER A INVESTIGATION IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT THE FBO (CAS HANDLING INC) HAD IMPROPERLY FUELED THE AIRCRAFT WITH 20 GALS. OF JET A FUEL. THIS AIRCRAFT WAS FUELED BY A FUELER THAT HAD NO DOCUMENTATION THAT HE WAS TRAINED IN FUELING AIRCRAFT. HE HAD NO TRAINING RECORD THAT PROVED THAT HE MEETS THE REQUIREMENTS IN FAR 139.321 (E)(1)(2). THE PILOT WAS GIVEN A RECEIPT FOR "AVGAS".

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
