## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON 11/29/2003, AT APPROXIMATELY 1700PST, N49KF WAS CLEARED TO LAND ON RUNWAY 12L AT KBFL. WEATHER CONDITIONS WERE VMC WITH WIND REPORTED AT 250/3KNOTS. RUNWAY 12L, (10,857'X150') WAS REPORTED TO BE DRY. MR. FOWLER (PIC) REPORTED THAT HE MADE A LONG LANDING (FLAPS RETRACTED) AND APPLIED THE BRAKES AS HE APPROACHED THE END OF THE RUNWAY. HE STATED THAT THE AIRCRAFT SPEED WAS EXCESSIVE AND AS HE INCREASED BRAKING, THE AIRCRAFT NOSED OVER AND CAME TO A STOP. IT REMAINED ON THE RUNWAY AND SUFFERED A PROPELLER STRIKE AND MINOR DAMAGE TO A MAIN LANDING GEAR FAIRING. MR. FOWLER AND HIS PASSENGER WERE UNINJURED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
