As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) DURING A MULTI-ENGINE TRAINING FLIGHT THE STUDENT INITIATED A TAKEOFF ON RUNWAY 18 AT ST. CHARLES COUNTY AIRPORT (SET). THE STUDENT (SAMUAL BELL) PERFORMED A SIMULATED ENGINE FAILURE MANEUVER AS INSTRUCTED BY THE FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR (ROBERT ECTON). THE AIRCRAFT'S THROTTLES WERE BOTH BROUGHT TO IDLE WHEN THE AIRCRAFT WAS APPROX. 10-15 FEET ABOVE THE RUNWAY SURFACE. DURING LANDING THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED A HARD LANDING AND BLEW THE RIGHT MAIN TIRE. FURTHER DAMAGE WAS FOUND ON THE BOTTOM INBOARD WING TRAILING EDGE SKIN (SKIN BUCKLED) AND THE LOWER RIGHT GEAR TRUNION. THE TAIL TIEDOWN SHOWS EVIDENCE OF SKIDDING.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
