## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) AT FL390, FLIGHT CREW OBSERVED (AND FELT) THE CABIN ALITTUDE INCREASING. THE CREW INITIATED AN EMERGENCY PROCEDURE, DECLARED AN EMERGENCY WITH ATC, AND NOTIFIED THEM IT WAS NECESSARY TO DESCEND. ATC ISSUED A 20 DEGREE HEADING CHANGE; HOWEVER, N81TT'S RATE OF DESCENT WAS GREATER THAN ANTICIPATED, AND A LOSS OF IFR SEPARATION OCCURRED WITH ANOTHER ACFT (2.8 NM AND 1,100 FEET). AFTER CABIN PRESSURE STABILIZED AT APPROXIMATELY 7,800 FEET, THE CREW REQUESTED A CLEARANCE TO LINCOLN, NE. A TELEPHONE CALL WAS ALSO MADE TO A SERVICE CENTER IN MINNEAPOLIS, MN (MSP). THE FLIGHT WAS THEN RE-ROUTED TO MSP. AN INSPECTION FOUND THAT A FLEX COUPLING HAD SEPARATED FROM THE ECS PLENUM, AND THE PART WAS REPLACED. INCIDENT ^PRIVACY DATA OMI^ IS CLOSED WITH THIS REPORT. LOSS OF PRESSURIZATION.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
