## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THERE WERE LIGHT SOUTHWEST WINDS OF BETWEEN 7 AND 13 KNOTS REPORTED ON THE AREA. THIS WAS THE FIRST FLIGHT AFTER THE 79 HOUR PRIVATE PILOT COMPLETED HIS FLIGHT REVIEW (BFR). THE PILOT WAS CARELESS DURING THE LANDING ON RUNWAY 17 AT TRADEWIND AIRPORT IN AMARILLO, TEXAS. HE ALLOWED THE RIGHT WINGTIP TO TOUCH THE GROUND AND THEN THE PROPELLER STRUCK THE RUNWAY. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
