## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE AIRCRAFT WAS OPERATED IN SLUSH DURING HIGH ALTITUDE, OFF AIRPORT LANDING TRAINING. IT IS BELIEVED THAT THE BRAKES ACCUMULATED WATER DURING TAXI AND FROZE DURING THE RETURN FLIGHT TO 4SD. THE TEMPERATURE AT RENO/STEAD AIRPORT AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT WAS 37 DEGREES. UPON LANDING, THE FROZEN BRAKES IMPEDED WHEEL ROTATION AND THE AIRCRAFT NOSED OVER. NOTE: THE AIRCRAFT WAS BELOW GROSS WEIGHT AND WITHIN CENTER OF GRAVITY LIMITS AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
