## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE AIRCRAFT EXPERIENCED WHAT IS BELIEVED TO BE A PILOT INDUCED OSCILLATION ("LATERAL PIO"). DURING A LIGHT CROSSWIND LANDING, ROLL CORRECTION FOR A SLIGHT, UNCOMMANDED RIGHT BANK WERE MADE AT APPROXIMATELY 50-100 FEET AGL. ALMOST IMMEDIATELY, THE AIRCRAFT BEGAN A RAPID, UNCOMMANDED ROLL TO THE LEFT. CORRECTIONS FOR THIS SECOND ROLL RESULTED IN AN INCREASED SINK RATE. DUE TO THE PREVAILING WEATHER CONDITIONS, CAPTAIN CUMMINGS ESTABLISHED A GO-AROUND PITCH ALTITUDE VISUALLY, WITH NO VISIBLE HORIZON. DURING THE GO-AROUND MANEUVER THE AFT UNDERBODY OF THE AIRCRAFT SCRAPED RUNWAY 5R. INFORMATION ABOUT THIS EVENT HAS BEEN GIVEN TO THE SEA AEG/FAA FLIGHT TEST.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
