## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) MR. SHAWN RAKER THE PILOT OF N2399V STATED THAT THE BRAKES ON HIS AIRCRAFT GAVE OUT AFTER HE LANDED ON RUNWAY 2R AT PEACHTREE-DEKALB AIRPORT. HE DEPARTED THE RUNWAY AT TAXIWAY "A" AND CAME TO REST 20 YARDS FROM THE RUNWAY EDGE. AFTER THE BRAKE SYSTEM WAS INSPECTED BY MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL, IT WAS NOTED THAT THE BRAKE SYSTEM FUNCTIONED PROPERLY AND THAT THE PRESSURE IN THE SYSTEM WAS LOW. MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL SERVICED THE BRAKE SYSTEM AND FOUND NO OTHER PROBLEM THAT WOULD HAVE CAUSED THE BRAKES TO FAIL.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
