## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) PILOT DEPARTED STILLWATER OKLAHOMA TO PRACTICE LANDINGS AT CUSHING OKLAHOMA. ON THE 4TH LANDING, THE PILOT WAS ATTEMPTING A SOFT-FIELD TOUCH AND GO LANDING. DURING THE GO-AROUND, THE NOSE WHEEL LANDING GEAR COLLAPSED AND THE NOSE COWL AND PROPELLER SETTLED TO THE RUNWAY. DAMAGE TO AIRCRAFT INCLUDED THE COWL AREA AND PROPELLER FOLLOWING CONTACT WITH THE RUNWAY. MAINTENANCE INSPECTION AND TESTING OF THE ENTIRE LANDING GEAR SYSTEM FOLLOWING THIS INCIDENT REVEALED ALL COMPONENTS FUNCTIONED NORMALLY.^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
