## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON FEB 7, 2004, THE PILOT OF N32524, DID NOT RECEIVE A GREEN LIGHT WHEN HE PUT THE LANDING GEAR HANDLE DOWN ON APPROACH TO OMAHA, NE. HE FLEW BY THE TOWER AND PERSONNEL SAW ONLY ONE MAIN GEAR DOWN. THE PILOT PERFORMED AN EMERGENCY GEAR EXTENSION AND LANDED SAFELY. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AND PERFORMED SEVERAL GEAR RETRACTION TESTS WHICH WERE SATISFACTORY. NO DISCREPANCIES WERE NOTED. THE RUNWAY AT MANHATTAN HAD 2-3 INCHES OF SLUSH ON THE RUNWAY AT THE TIME THE AIRCRAFT DEPARTED, WHICH MIGHT HAVE BEEN A FACTOR.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
